Oscars 2019: Charlize Theron debuts drastic new brunette locks on the red carpet

Updated

Nothing like debuting a brand new look during Hollywood's biggest night!

Charlize Theron was nearly unrecognizable on the 2019 Oscars red carpet on Sunday night, where the Oscar-winning actress showed off her newly-dyed brunette bob.

The actress put on a striking display with her new look, for which she opted to wear a long-sleeved baby blue gown with a high neckline and plunging backside that cut dangerously close to her derrière. She finished off the form-fitting look with incredible diamond necklaces and jeweled earrings.

The actress' appearance at the 2019 Academy Awards marks 15 years since she won an Oscar for her lead performance in 2004's "Monster." She was also nominated for "North Country" in 2006.

Theron wasn't nominated this year, but she will present an award during the ceremony.
