Oscars 2019: E! News' Zanna Roberts Rassi's red carpet predictions

Updated

It's officially Oscars weekend and, while we obviously have our eyes on who will take home the night's biggest awards, we are also eagerly anticipating what stars will wear on the red carpet.

The Academy Awards represent the culmination of an exhaustive, months-long awards season, and Hollywood's best and brightest always make sure to go out with a bang. With key players like "A Star Is Born" co-stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, fashion wunderkind Timothee Chalamet and underrated fashionista Melissa McCarthy, this year's Oscars are sure to bring forth some major looks.

Earlier this month at New York Fashion Week, AOL caught up with "E! News" Style Correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi at the E! Fashion Studio inside Spring Studios to pick her brain about all of her biggest hopes and predictions for what we'll see on the red carpet at the Oscars this year.

"It's going to be very exciting to see what happens at the Oscars," she told us.

Check out what she had to say about Timothee Chalamet, Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper and Melissa McCarthy below:

Timothee Chalamet: He's so good. Timothee better bring another harness, that's all I'm saying. I thought his LV ensemble at the Globes was so much fun. I expect him to bring a completely unexpected twist on the tux.

Lady Gaga: Lady Gaga is going to go Judy Garland glam.

Melissa McCarthy: Melissa McCarthy is going to wear something incredible. I wonder if she'll wear her own line? The great thing about Melissa McCarthy is that she actually made her own line because designers refused to dress her body type. She nails it all the time now, and I imagine her doing something colorful and witty-chic, like she is.

Bradley Cooper: Beard or no beard? I would like to see Bradley Cooper with his beard, but if you asked me co E! panelists, this will be an ongoing conversation literally that fills way too many hours of TV.

Catch "E! News" Style Correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi during E!'s comprehensive "Live From the Red Carpet" Oscars coverage on Sunday, February 24, starting at 1:00 p.m. EST
