Roseanne Barr slams U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her politics and her looks

Roseanne Barr has something to say about most things, especially when it comes to politics, so you’d better believe that she’s weighing in with her thoughts on much-talked about U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Barr, whose rebooted ABC show was canceled last year after she sent a racist tweet, slammed the freshman congresswoman from New York for her political views as well as her appearance in a video on her YouTube channel this week. Barr referred to Ocasio-Cortez as a “Farrakhan-loving… bug-eyed bitch.”

Over two minutes, Barr never spoke Ocasio-Cortez’s name, but her followers knew who she meant. Ocasio-Cortez introduced the Green New Deal, a package of policies aimed at fighting climate change while promoting economic growth earlier this month.

Barr said she would “try to correct some of the mistakes she’s made,” mistakes that Barr alleged would cost “hundreds of people decent paying jobs.”

Ocasio-Cortez has argued that the deal could curb climate change and boost the economy.

Many of Barr’s fans cheered her comments. They thanked her for speaking “the truth” and asked her to “preach on.”

She regularly offers her thoughts via her YouTube channel on President Trump and other political issues.

Barr received a lot of attention last month after giving a speech in Tel Aviv, where she reportedly said that she was taken off her show because she was “defending Israel” on Twitter.

The first season finale of her former show, repackaged as The Conners, aired last month.
