ACMs host Reba McEntire gives opinion on host-less Oscars

Reba McEntire is sharing her thoughts on the Oscars going host-less this year following the Kevin Hart debacle.

The country singer, who will host the upcoming 2019 ACM Awards for the 16th time this spring, said at BUILD Series on Wednesday that she expects the show to be very "different" without a host.

"I miss the host, because I always like the very beginning when the host has done all this stuff and it's cute and funny," McEntire said. "It was different."

When the interviewer said that the Oscars producers "should've called" McEntire, she gave a knowing smile.

"Maybe next year," she said. "But, Alicia Keys I thought she did a great job at the the Grammys. So, I don't know, it will be different to see the Oscars and see how it plays out with just the voiceover: 'Coming up next...'"

"I don't know, might be good," she added.

"It's not going to be the ACMs," the interviewer quipped.

"No, no, no," Reba shot back.

McEntire appeared at BUILD Series hours after helping to announce the nominations for the 2019 ACM Awards, the full list for which you can see here.
