Blake Shelton 'grateful every day' he's not with Miranda Lambert anymore: report

As far as Blake Shelton is concerned, his ex-wife's surprise wedding to NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin isn't even a blip on his radar. In the days since Lambert announced that she's married again, insiders are revealing that her ex-husband couldn't care less.

"He put Miranda in his rear view mirror long ago. Miranda brings nothing positive to his life," a source told People. "Their marriage ended and he moved on. Ever since, he is grateful every day."

Other sources close to the country singer revealed earlier in the week that the two have had "almost zero contact" since their divorce in 2015 after four years of marriage, which means that her public wedding announcement came as a surprise to him.

"Blake was not given a heads-up and doesn't know her new husband," the insider explained.

Shelton has been dating girlfriend Gwen Stefani since the fall of 2015, one year after first meeting at coaches on "The Voice." The insider told People that Shelton is continuing to focus on his serious relationship with the former No Doubt frontwoman.

"Blake is crazy about Gwen," the source said. "All he sees are hearts in his eyes every day."

Recently, reports surfaced that Shelton and Stefani would be announcing their engagement soon, but Stefani's rep denied the rumors, saying that they're "going strong, but they're simply not headed down the aisle in the immediate future."
