It was a double-date night for the Clintons.

Bill and Hillary Clinton spent an evening in Manhattan with daughter Chelsea and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, after attending the widely-acclaimed "To Kill A Mockingbird" on Broadway.

The couple received a standing ovation from the audience as they made their way to their seats. Although Chelsea and Marc reportedly didn't attend the show, the foursome enjoyed a nearby dinner at Italian restaurant Orso.

Backstage after the show, Bill Clinton reportedly told the cast, "I always wanted to be Atticus Finch, but now I want to be Jeff Daniels," according to Page Six.

Emmy and Golden Globe winner Daniels stars as Atticus Finch in Aaron Sorkin's stage adaption of the iconic novel authored by Harper Lee. It's sold out every single performance since opening in December 2018, but tickets for upcoming shows are still available here on StubHub.

Chelsea is currently pregnant with her third child due this summer. She and Marc, who wed in 2010, have a daughter and a son.

The Clintons are regular theatergoers; last month, they attended the premiere of "Choir Boy."

They also aren't the only high-profile figures recently spotted in the "To Kill A Mockingbird" audience: Former FBI director James Comey -- who reportedly signed playbills for audience members after the show -- attended in January, as did former Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.
