Emily Blunt and John Krasinski both wear tuxedos to the 2019 Writers Guild Awards

Well, one of us is going to have to change.

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were a power couple in power suits on Sunday night at the 2019 Writers Guild Awards, both channeling 007 in black tuxedos for the guild's East Coast ceremony.

Emily's single-breasted Dolce & Gabbana suit featured an oversized bowtie -- because if you're gonna rock a tux, you might as well do it big. She capped off the look with pointed Jimmy Choo heels. The two posed together on the red carpet before John, wearing a velvet jacket, gamely stepped aside to let his wife take the spotlight.

Also creating a buzz on the red carpet was "Roma" director Alfonso Cuaron, a favorite not only for the WGA's Original Screenplay category but also for Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Presenters and honorees in New York included Jimmy Fallon, Kenan Thompson and Tony Shalhoub.

The glitzy evening on both coasts, held at New York City's Edison Ballroom and LA's Beverly Hilton, honored the year's best in film and TV writing.

Over in Los Angeles, top awards went to "Eighth Grade" writer-director Bo Burnham (Best Original Screenplay), "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" (Comedy Series), "The Americans" (Drama Series), and "Can You Ever Forgive Me?" (Adapted Screenplay).

Burnham's unexpected win marked the first time in well over a decade that a WGA nominee has won Best Original Screenplay without being nominated for an Oscar.

“To the other nominees in the category — have fun at the Oscars, losers," Burnham joked onstage.
