Tim Tebow raves about 'incredible' fiancee Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters

So much love. Tim Tebow and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters are still in engagement bliss — and the NFL-turned-MLB star couldn’t help but rave about his “special” fiancée.

“[Being engaged] is awesome. It’s so incredible and we’re so blessed,” Tebow, 31, told Us Weekly exclusively at the premiere of Run the Race, which he executive produced, at the The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood on Monday, February 11. “We’re really enjoying it.”

When asked what makes the 23-year-old South African model The One, the New York Mets outfielder couldn’t pick just one thing: “Everything,” he noted. “We’re so aligned in what matters most to us and we get along so well. She’s so incredibly special … I almost can’t even put it into words.”

As for their wedding? The athlete doesn’t have many details, as he’s letting Nel-Peters plan the ceremony. However, Tebow noted that they won’t be tying the knot “too soon” because his baseball season is about to begin.

The former Denver Broncos quarterback confirmed his relationship with Miss Universe 2017 in July 2018. “She is a really special girl, and I am very lucky and blessed for her coming into my life,” he said at the time. “I am usually very private with these things, but I am very thankful.”

Six months later, Tebow popped the question. “@demileighnp Thank you for saying YES and making me the happiest man in the world,” he wrote alongside a series of photos of himself down on one knee via Instagram in January 2019. “You’re the love of my life, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Nel-Peters also gushed about their engagement on Instagram, writing, “Any dreams I’ve ever had, you’ve exceeded them all! I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you! @timtebow.”

The professional baseball player was previously linked to Olivia Culpo, who won Miss Universe in 2012, and actress Camilla Belle.
