'Suits' creator reveals if Meghan Markle will return for show's final season

It doesn't sound like we'll be getting one last Meghan Markle appearance on "Suits" before the long-running USA Network show comes to an end.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that the show's upcoming ninth season would be its last, which fueled speculation that the Duchess of Sussex, whose final episode aired last spring, could return to the show for one last hurrah. Aaron Korsh, who created the show, effectively put those rumors to rest this week, though, at the Television Critics Association press tour.

"We're not currently pursuing asking Meghan Markle to leave her position with the royal family and join us," he told ET Online. "I would love it, but I think it's pretty close to zero."

During his appearance at the TCAs promoting "Suits" spinoff, "Pearson," Korsh also opened up about his experience at Meghan's royal wedding last spring.

"The thing I"ll say about it is that we all went as a family," Korsh, who attended the wedding alongside a handful of "Suits" stars said. "When we all went, there were about 10 of us or something ... it was unbelievable. I think it changed out lives in certain ways forever. But if it had never happened, we were a family on 'Suits' for 10 years."

Also at the wedding were Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Gabriel Macht and Gina Torres.
