2019 SAG Awards: Patricia Arquette unexpectedly thanks Robert Mueller during acceptance speech

Thank you, Mom. Thank you, Dad. Thank you... Robert Mueller?

Patricia Arquette was -- we're pretty sure -- the first Hollywood star to ever thank the former FBI director in an acceptance speech, giving Mueller a shoutout as she received her award for Showtime's "Escape at Dannemora."

After addressing her colleagues, co-stars and crew, Arquette finished her speech by adding, "Oh, thank you Robert Mueller, and everyone working to make sure that we have sovereignty for the United States of the America."

The unexpected moment garnered one of the loudest, most vocal rounds of applause of the night.

Mueller's team is conducting an ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, which has led to multiple indictments and arrests, most recently of President Trump's adviser Roger Stone.

Arquette also got a big reaction moments earlier in her speech when she called out production companies who skimp out on paying their employees overtime, reminding them that people "depend on that money to survive."

She beat out Amy Adams, Penelope Cruz, Emma Stone and Patricia Clarkson for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries. See all the winners of the night here.
