2019 SAG Awards: Best dressed of the night

Our jaws are on the floor.

We're just a few weeks into 2019 awards season, but it'll be hard for stars to outdo the glamour displayed at Sunday night's SAG Awards. Hello -- shouldn't you guys save some of this energy for the Oscars? Pace yourselves!

Tiers and ruffles always make for a dramatic style statement, and "Crazy Rich Asians" star Gemma Chan did not disappoint. Neither did "This Is Us" knockout Susan Kelechi Watson, whose canary yellow gown was a showstopper.

Making more demure choices were Constance Wu and Mandy Moore, both of whom kept things simple but stunning in strapless square necklines. Wu's is Oscar de la Renta.

More outstanding style moments came from Melissa McCarthy, who shimmered in silver sequins, and "The Americans" actress Holly Taylor. How gorgeous is that black lace bodice?!

Perhaps the best part of this year's SAG Awards carpet is that there was no single dominating trend. We saw bright colors, black, white, sequins, ruffles, slits -- thank you, ladies, for bringing your A-game.
