Mary-Kate Olsen steps out in NYC for launch of Black Iris

Updated

On the rare occurrence that Mary-Kate and Ashley are spotted out and about, it's usually in the name of fashion.

Mary-Kate stepped out in NYC on Wednesday night to celebrate the launch of a new romantic luxe fashion label, Black Iris. The intimate dinner party brought out a few of fashion's leading ladies, including Hilary Rhoda, Jennifer Fisher, Something Navy's Arielle Charnas and Man Repeller's Leandra Medine.

The Row designer wore a black ensemble with her signature oversized menswear coat and accessorized with rustic gold earrings. Spotted mingling alongside industry friends, the event was hosted by Black Iris' founders -- Candice Miller, Aly Gradone, Chloe Rosenberg, and Rachel Wexler-- in collaboration with Harper's Bazaar.

From dreamy dress silhouettes to fairytale separates including organza blouses and skirts, Black Iris pays homage to the elegance of the late '50s. You can shop the beautiful collection on ModaOperandi.com. We have a feeling it's about to become a celeb favorite -(we're looking at you Kate Middleton!)
