John Travolta reacts to bald Instagram selfie going viral
John Travolta is excited over the reaction to his new look.
The "Saturday Night Fever" actor's latest selfie went viral earlier this week, as fans flooded the comments section of his Instagram to express how much they love his bald new 'do. In response, Travolta took to Instagram on Wednesday to thank his followers for their support -- especially after they got him to past the one million mark!
"Hey there," he started a video alongside his son. "Ben Travolta [and] John Travolta here. We're dirt biking today, and we just got the great news that we've hit over a million followers on Instagram. We love you and thank you."
"Also, thanks for liking the new hairdo!" he added with a smile as he took off his baseball hat.
The hoopla surrounding his new appearance started after he posted a selfie with his daughter, Ella, on Instagram on Monday, wishing everyone a happy new year. In the fun snap, the actor is wearing a tuxedo and holding up an empty martini glass, with his newly-bald head on full display.
Fans loved it.
"John, hair is so overrated, love the picture. Very Handsome," one person commented. Another person called it his "BEST look yet!"
"No more toupees! rock what y’momma gave you!!" the person added.
“This proves it a man is like a fine bottle of wine," another follower proclaimed. "It just gets better with time."
