Here's how to get tickets to the official Stan Lee tribute on Jan. 30

Friends and fans will gather at LA's famed Chinese Theatre on Jan. 30, 2019 to celebrate the legacy of Marvel icon Stan Lee.

Filmmaker Kevin Smith is set to host "Excelsior! A Celebration of the Amazing, Fantastic, Incredible & Uncanny Life of Stan Lee," which will benefit The Hero Initiative. A limited number of tickets are available starting Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 5 pm PST / 8 pm EST at legionm.com/stantribute.

Among the celebrity guests engaging in conversation will be Mark Hamill, no stranger to massive, widely-beloved franchises himself.

"I loved this man & will never stop missing him," Hamill tweeted after learning of Lee's death. "They say you should never meet a childhood idol. They are wrong."
