R. Kelly under criminal investigation following Lifetime documentary series

An explosive Lifetime documentary series covering distressing allegations against R. Kelly has prompted a criminal investigation into the singer’s behavior, according to a new report.

Investigators from the Fulton County District Attorney’s office are currently looking into the situation and have tried to touch base with some of the women featured in the six-part series, TMZ reported.

Kelly is accused of manipulating women and controlling their lives, in addition to numerous accusations of sexual misconduct, which he has denied.

A rep for the Fulton County District Attorney’s office declined to comment.
