E! accidentally identifies Jameela Jamil as her 'Good Place' character's sister

Maybe this is the Bad Place after all.

Jameela Jamil wasn’t just misidentified as her “Good Place” character during E! News’ red carpet coverage of the Golden Globes Sunday night, but rather as her character’s sister, Kamilah al-Jamil.

The meta mistake is even worse considering Jamil’s character, Tahani, and her lifelong battle to be better than her sister.

E! is owned by NBC, which airs the hit sitcom, so it very well may have been a joke after all, but if not, Michael has points to deduct.
