Mariah Carey has kicked off the new year with a tropical vacation in St. Barts, and photos from her enviable getaway show that she is in an incredible place right now.

The "Distance" hitmaker took to Instagram over the weekend to share several photos of herself in a teeny pink sparkling bikini while taking a nighttime dip in the pool. Carey is all smiles in the stunning shots, one of which she simply captioned, "Happy," along with a smiley face and heart.

In addition to her adorable twins, the singer has a lot to be thrilled about following the release of her critically-acclaimed album, "Caution," which she released at the end of last year.
