Chrissy Metz and Alison Brie react to footage seemingly showing Metz calling Brie 'such a b--ch'
Chrissy Metz and Alison Brie are reacting to footage that went viral during Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards that seemingly features a hot mic moment during which Metz refers to Brie as "such a b--ch."
In a red carpet interview during a Facebook stream ahead of the ceremony, the "This Is Us" actress appeared to refer to Brie with the off-handed comment, but Metz took to Twitter to deny that she made the comment at all.
"It’s terribly unfortunate anyone would think much less run a story that was completely fabricated!" she wrote. "I adore Alison and would never say a bad word about her, or anyone! I sure hope she knows my heart."

Meanwhile, Vanity Fair writer Nicole Sperling tweeted that she asked Brie about Metz's supposed name-calling, and the "GLOW" actress was confused by it.
"Just asked Alison Brie about this," Sperling tweeted from inside the show. "She had not heard about Metz’s comments and seemed very confused by the entire matter. 'But why?,' she asked. 'I know her. I saw her on the carpet and I told her how beautiful she looked.'"
