Queen Elizabeth 'reached her limit' with alleged Kate and Meghan feud: report

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have cleared the air.

The two duchesses put on a united front on Christmas Day, where they were photographed walking into Sandringham Church alongside their husbands, Prince Harry and Prince William, before enjoying an undramatic holiday together at Queen Elizabeth's estate, Sandringham House, in Norfolk, England.

Meghan and Kate were notably all smiles as they celebrated the holidays together following months of reports that the two aren't getting along behind the scenes. And, according to multiple reports, their willingness to see past their differences and get along wasn't just for the cameras -- and that may be thanks to the Queen herself.

Us Weekly reported this week that the monarch had "reached her limit with all the drama," which had resulted in an uncharacteristic statement from Kensington Palace denying that Kate had told off Meghan.

"She desperately wanted Meghan and Kate make up and she got her wish," a source told the outlet.

At the Queen's private Christmas celebration, the royal family enjoyed a lunch of roast turkey and steamed fruit pudding before watching the Queen's televised speech.

According to The Sun, Kate and Meghan didn't just put up with one another -- they actively enjoyed one another's company over a game of Scrabble.

"They were chuckling along together," a source told the British outlet. "You wouldn't know there was any tension between the two. It was a wonderful day and night."

"If German and British troops could put their differences to one side to play football during World War One, the feeling was Kate and Meghan could follow suit for Scrabble," the insider added rather dramatically.
