Daveigh Chase, known for 'The Ring' and 'Lilo and Stitch,' charged with drug possession

Daveigh Chase, who starred as creepy little girl Samara in the 2002 horror "The Ring," is officially charged with drug possession and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Chase, also known for voicing Lilo in Disney's "Lilo and Stitch," received two misdemeanor drug-related charges in November 2018, The Blast reports.

This isn't Chase's first brush with the law: In November 2017, police arrested and questioned Chase in regards to the death of a man who was ditched outside an LA hospital; Chase had been "hanging out with the guy hours before his death."

Additionally, in August, she was arrested by LAPD for drug possession, and in November 2017, she was booked for joyriding in a stolen car.

Chase was 9 when she first entered the Hollywood scene and 12 when Disney released "Lilo and Stitch." She worked steadily in film and TV throughout the 2000s and had a long-running recurring role on HBO's "Big Love" playing the underage bride of a polygamist.

Now 28, the actress used to regularly post on Instagram, but her social media activity ceased around the time of her November 2017 arrest.
