2018 has been a monumental time for women and Glamour Magazine honored some of the most influential leading ladies.

Viola Davis, Karlie Kloss, Amber Heard, Lupita Nyong'o and more all stepped out in New York City for Glamour's Women of the Year awards, where some of the world's most pioneering women took the stage.

Chrissy Teigen, who was one of the Women of the Year honorees, took the stage with her Grammy-winning husband, John Legend. The couple broke the internet with their heartfelt speeches about one another. The witty cookbook author stunned in an asymmetrical white dress by Solace London, while John kept it dapper in a navy pinstripe suit.

Janelle Monae stuck to her signature black and white aesthetic, but this time, Monae ditched her trademark suit for a powerful tiered chiffon dress by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Parkland student and activist Emma Gonzalez was in attendance as well as judge Rosemarie Aquilina, who found the disgraced gymnastics coach, Larry Nassar, guilty this past January. Aquilina walked the stage with former Olympians including Aly Raisman.

Hilary Clinton shocked the audience with her surprise appearance. The former presidential candidate gave an inspiring speech to convince women to run for office that garnered a standing ovation from the audience.

"We need you [women] so much. I think people got a burst of energy from the victories from last week. I will be sure to continue to encourage a lot of you and encourage particularly young women and everyone who wants to see positive change to go ahead, get involved, and maybe even run for office. And may the best candidates win," she said.

Alicia Silverstone, Ashley Grahm, Coco Rocha, and Kat Graham all stepped out in looks by Christian Siriano who accompanied Silverstone on the red carpet. See their epic looks in the gallery above!
