PCAs 2018: Kardashians show up for big win, dedicate award to firefighters

Kardashians win big and make a statement.

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" won best Reality Show of 2018 at the People's Choice Awards on Sunday night, and Chrissy Teigen was on-hand to present the award to most of the famous family: Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris and Kendall all took the stage to accept the fan-voted honor from their pal.

Kim stunned in a sheer, striped dress that showed off her signature curves, which she paired with a sleek high-pony, while Khloe was a total vision in a strapless white gown that she rocked with a half-up half-down hairdo. Kourtney was sexy in a suit jacket dress over a sheer lace one-piece, and Kendall rocked wide-legged black pants with an ornate top. Mom Kris kept it classic in a black pantsuit that she wore over a totally sheer top, paired off with oversized sunglasses.

As the famous family took the stage, Kim went to the mic -- and she took her opportunity in the spotlight at the star-studded awards show to honor those who had been lost in a series of tragedies in California: The Borderline Bar shooting and the devastating Woolsey fires.

"It's been a really rough week in our home in Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and for our neighbors in Thousand Oaks and Malibu," Kim said. "Our hearts are broken from the horrific shootings and for those who have lost their lives and homes, as well as the hundreds of thousands of us that have been evacuated from the devastating fires that are currently burning."

"As horrible as this has been, it's been amazing to see the resilient spirit of everyone involved, and the heroism of those risking their lives on the front lines," she continued. "Action is necessary, so anything we can do to help, as simple as donating to the many organization that are collecting supplies, no form of help is too small."

"Our country is stronger when we come together and we cannot face devastation alone," she added. "We must continue to reach out and help each other during these trying times."

The Kardashians and Jenners had to vacate their respective homes in Calabasas at the end of last week as wildfires threatened the surrounding areas. Though it seems as though their homes were mostly spared, they made sure to urge people to help in any way that they can and dedicated their award to "all of the firefighters, the law enforcement and the first responders."

"We really, truly appreciate what you have done for all of us," Kim said. "So please, let's continue to pray for everyone's safety."

In the aftermath of the fires, several of the "KUWTK" stars have taken to social media to raise awareness and spread the word on how their millions of followers can contribute to relief efforts. Khloe even rushed to a pharmacy to gather supplies for those who were in action on the ground.
