Victoria Beckham honored with fashion icon award at E! People's Choice Awards

After celebrating 10 years of her eponymous brand, Victoria Beckham, the 44-year-old designer is being honored with the first-ever Fashion Icon Award at the E! People’s Choice Awards.

Victoria Beckham stepped out for the PCAs Sunday night in a signature white power-suit from her 2019 Ready To Wear collection. Paired with black pointed pumps and a low undone-ponytail, Beckham always knows how to make a statement with little effort.

Presented by Amber Valletta, the former Posh Spice recalled the earlier days of her success while punning iconic Spice Girls song "Wannabe."

"I always told myself, 'Dream big, and then dream even bigger.' And I wanted to show that, if I can do it, then really anyone can do it. And what you can achieve really can be limitless, if you, I can't help it, if you really, really want it, OK?...They told me at the table, they said, 'You've come all the way from London, you've got to get up then and you've got to give them what they want, what they really, really want."

"So many years ago, I started with girl power, and now that message is still as strong as ever, but now it's through the privilege of being able to empower women through my designs," she added. "I've always been surrounded by strong, supportive women. And that's as true now as it was back then. So, for all the women out there who have ever been doubted or doubted themselves, this award tonight is for all of us."

Beckham also paid tribute to the fatal California wildfires.

"It's so amazing to be back here in L.A receiving this award. I really consider this place to be my second home. In such a trying time, my heart really goes out to everyone that has been affected by the terrible fires."
