Kelly Ripa to guest-star as husband Mark Consuelos’s ‘alleged mistress’ on ‘Riverdale’
“Riverdale” is becoming an even bigger family affair, with Kelly Ripa set to join husband Mark Consuelos on the CW drama.
The daytime talk show host is set to guest-star on an upcoming episode of the series, playing Mrs. Mulray. Described as “confident and tough,” the character is the “alleged mistress” of Hiram Lodge (Consuelos).
According to the official character description, “she’s a beautiful, icy, femme fatale who gets caught up in a conspiracy that’s much bigger than she initially realized.”

“23 years of auditioning for a role I was born to play,” Ripa wrote in an Instagram post announcing her casting.
Consuelos and Ripa’s son Michael Consuelos is also set to join his father on “Riverdale,” playing a younger version of Hiram in the show’s “Breakfast Club”-themed flashback episode on Tuesday night.
