Sunday night's MTV Europe Music Awards united some of the most popular musicians in Bilbao, Spain. The star-studded night brought out a slew of pop-culture's finest including Halsey, Jourdan Dunn, Debby Ryan, and Bebe Rexha.

Hosted by Oscar-nominated actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, the 21-year-old "Pitch Perfect" star stunned on the red carpet in a couture look by Armani Privé.

An unexpected Lindsay Lohan arrived in a $4,490 Saint Laurent gold lamé mini dress while Camilla Cabello tapped into her princess side with a voluminous red gown by Alex Perry.

Nicki Minaj opened the show solo, followed by Little Mix, who joined the rapper on stage to perform new anthem “Woman Like Me.” Minaj took home the Best Hip Hop award among others while Camilla Cabello and Dua Lipa were also big winners of the night.

Global Icon Award winner Janet Jackson took to the stage to deliver an emotional performance and speech dedicated to uplifting women.

“Tonight, I feel moved to speak for women whose voices have been stifled. I am one of those women - Women who have been gagged both literally and emotionally, women who have been abused, women who have been intimidated, women who have lived in fear. I stand with you. You are my sisters,” Jackson said in her acceptance speech.
