Megyn Kelly in talks to join ‘The View’: ‘Execs are very hot on the idea’

Move over, NBC!

Megyn Kelly is ready to trade one morning show for another — only this time at a competing network!

RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively the blonde talking head could be headed to ABC to join the all-gal gabfest at The View.

“They want her as a full-time host. Execs are very hot on the idea,” said a source. “They think she would be able to keep up with [co-host] Whoopi Goldberg and keep her in check. They think it would be blockbuster to have her.”

Although a rep for the network denied it, a well-placed insider insisted to Radar exclusively the discussions with Kelly’s team are still in the early stages and she’s eager to sit on the panel when an open seat is available.

Another hiccup is the fired Today host, who is being ousted after she defended blackface on her show, is negotiating her package to say goodbye at NBC, but she was resisting a proposed NDA, according to reports.

As Radar reported exclusively, the 47-year-old was also in talks to return to her roots at FOX, but she won’t leave the peacock network before NBC guarantees her the remaining mega-bucks in her $75 million contract.

“Once the non-compete clause is figured out, The View is most likely going to be one of the first places she appears on — at least as a guest at first,” revealed the informant.

But NBC is fighting her exit demands, including her wish to tell her side of what really happened October 23, 2018.

“Megyn likes the idea of having a real conversation and not a fake conversation about what happened at NBC,” said the source of Kelly’s appearance on The View. “She finally wants to say what execs told her. They said if she apologized, they would have her back. She did apologize and they didn’t have her back.

“She asked for $10 million to sign a confidentiality agreement, but NBC isn’t going to pay that. So she’s saying, “okay, I’ll expose it all.”
