Taylor Swift makes a big donation to fan whose mother is in a coma

Taylor Swift made a big donation one of her biggest fans.

According to Fox News, Swift gave over $15,000 to 19-year-old Sadie Bartell, who had set up a GoFundMe to help her mother who has been in a coma for 3 years.

The 19-year-old said in a Facebook post that the donation came right before she went to the singer’s concert

“Everyone who knows me knows that Taylor Swift is my whole entire life. She has been there for me more than anyone," she wrote. "She has been there for me more than anyone. I really, truly, would not be who I am without her. Today she read my family’s story online and out of the goodness of her heart donated to us."

Bartell says her father has been caring for her mother for the last 3 years, and they are at risk of losing their home. The family has raised over $26,000 on the GoFundMe.

Over the summer Swift also gave concert tickets to Weymouth, Massachusetts after a police officer there was killed.
