Caitlyn Jenner speaks out against President Trump

Caitlyn Jenner is speaking out against President Trump’s administration.

Jenner spoke up after a leaked memo detailed how the administration is looking to define sex based on the genitalia a person is born with.

This could, in turn, eliminate the legal recognition of transgender people and sparked outrage from various celebrities, including Jenner, who is herself transgender.

"The Trump administration has ferociously attacked my community again," she said in a statement to People. "Just as an FYI Mr. President— the military is the single largest employer of trans people in the world. This leaked memo is an unacceptable attack on my community."

The memo obtained by the New York Times revealed that the Department of Health and Human services is arguing for a new legal definition of sex, saying it is something that can’t be changed.

Jenner also posted on instagram an image that has been circulating around. It reads “TRANS PEOPLE WON’T BE ERASED.”
