Pippa Middleton is a mom!

The sister of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton welcomed her first child -- a boy! -- with husband James Matthews on Monday on Monday at 1:58 p.m. local time, People confirmed on Tuesday.

"Everyone is delighted and mother and baby are doing well," her rep told the outlet of the newborn, who weighs 8 lbs. 9 oz.

Middleton gave birth to her baby boy at the Lindo Wing, where her royal sister delivered her three children, as well. The ultra-exclusive maternity unit offers suites starting around 7,500 pounds per night.

Matthews, 41, and Middleton, 35, got married on May 20, 2017 and announced that they were expecting this past June, though first reports that she was expecting emerged a few months earlier in April. She has reportedly had a seamless pregnancy and has kept up her fitness regimen throughout, while also turning to meditation and swimming to stay calm.

The baby marks Kate Middleton becoming an aunt for the first time. It also comes on the heels of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announcing on Monday that they, too, are expecting their first child together, due in the spring of 2019.

Pippa surprised many by attending Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank last Friday, just days before she gave birth. She prompted speculation that she was about to give birth on Monday after she and Matthews were spotted walking into the Lindo Wing, with her husband carrying two overnight bags into the maternity ward.
