Meghan Markle's sister calls out Doria Ragland in latest Twitter rant

Samantha Markle is speaking out against her half-sister Meghan Markle -- and Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland.

A week after apologizing to Meghan during a televised interview in which she came clean for being too critical of the newly-minted royal, Samantha took to her private Twitter account to reply to some of her followers this week.

"We spoke out because [Meghan] ghosted the whole family," she wrote. "Both sides of the family. Get your facts straight."

Meghan's disgruntled sister went on to claim that everything that's being written about her family and the royal family is "a lie" before going on to call Ragland's parenting into question.

"Everything that you think you know from tabloids is a lie," she added in another tweet. "Dad pretty much raised her most of her life on his own, and Doria was not around very much."

Meghan and Doria are a famously tight-knit mother-daughter duo, and Samantha's claims that Doria wasn't around very much during Meghan's childhood run completely contrary to how the rest of her family has characterized how she grew up. The duchess' half-sister added that Meghan and Doria are actually only close now because the former "Suits" actress ditched her lifelong friend, Nikki Priddy, who was Meghan's maid-of-honor for her first wedding to Trevor Engelson.

"Doria might be her best friend now because she ghosted her best friend of 30 years," Samantha claimed.

As Cosmopolitan pointed out, Priddy has openly criticized Meghan in interviews with the press, including the Daily Mail. Priddy accused Meghan of changing since she became famous and being the cause of her first marriage crumbling in that interview, and Meghan has wisely cut people who speak to the press about her out of her life, as the royal family doesn't encourage sharing such personal information with the public.

"Family issues like this exist because one member of the family ghosted both sides of the family and her best friend of 30 years," she went on. "If it was your family you would say something, too."

Samantha's latest rant about Meghan continues a trend that has lasted since Meghan's relationship with Harry became public last year. They haven't spoken to one another in years.
