Kate Hudson gives birth to daughter with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa: All the details

The actress excitedly confirmed Wednesday that she and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa welcomed their newborn daughter, Rani, on October 2.
"We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa," Hudson revealed on Instagram. "Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor."

Although they just went public with their relationship last year, Fujikawa and Hudson have known each other for quite a long time -- 15 years, to be exact! She's said that he is the stepbrother of her best friend.
Hudson also has two children from prior relationships, 14-year-old Ryder and 7-year-old Bingham. Rani is her first daughter.
Little Rani will be the newest grandchild for Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
And her arrival came right on time: During a recent joint appearance by Kate and Goldie on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Kate told Ellen, "Let's just say you've probably never had anyone ever this pregnant on your show."
