Tomi Lahren slams ‘joke’ Alyssa Milano for ‘her sleazy crap’

Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren wasn’t too thrilled with Alyssa Milano’s live coverage from the Kavanaugh hearings, tweeting out her displeasure — seemingly unprompted — and making an impromptu offer to meet her at Politicon.”

The tweet is not a reply to anything Milano said on the platform so it’s unclear what exactly the actress said which set Lahren off. A rep for her at Fox News did not immediately respond to request for comment from TheWrap.

Milano, however, might have upset the Fox News firebrand by deciding to drop in on the Kavanaugh hearings on Thursday and provide the world with live coverage and commentary of the proceedings.

This post, where a distant Dianne Feinstein can be heard questioning a fiery and defensive Kavanaugh racked up more than 37,000 retweets and has now been viewed more than 2.4 million times.

“I will say this,” said Milano. “If a woman were to yell, interrupt and cry while being questioned, people would call her unhinged or say she had a melt down.”

Reps for Milano did not immediately respond to request for comment from TheWrap.

Like most of America, Milano and Lahren spent Thursday battling over the outcome of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing of Brett Kavanaugh. The federal judge’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court was thrown into turmoil after three women came forward over the past two weeks to accuse the judge of various acts of sexual misconduct against them while drunk at parties in the early 1980s.

On Thursday, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who says Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than 30 years ago, offered emotional testimony to the committee. Hours later, Kavanaugh himself appeared to defiantly rebut the allegations.

Both choked up at various points during the proceedings, but after more than nine hours of testimony, there was little new factual information content added to the record.
