Meghan's first solo royal outing!

On Tuesday afternoon, Meghan Markle was cool, calm and collected as she stepped out for her first solo appearance since marrying Prince Harry in May, when she attended the Royal Academy of Art in London to see the new "Oceania" exhibit.

The exhibit features over 200 artifacts from Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. While there, the Duchess of Sussex also toured artwork from New Zealand and Fiji and Australia, where she and Harry plan on visiting next month during their tour Down Under. She also met the curators and artists from the exhibit, as well as took in a performance by a Maori cultural group, People reports.

For the outing, Markle opted to wear a Givenchy look, which is the same fashion house that made her wedding dress. On Tuesday, she opted for a fitted black dress with billowing sheer sleeves. She paired the look with a matching Givenchy clutch and her go-to Aquazzura black pumps.

The appearance is Markle's second of the week and comes a week after her mother, Doria Ragland, supported her at their first public event together since the royal wedding.

Harry and Meghan will visit a slew of countries Down Under during their first major trip as a couple in October, with the intention of focusing on youth leadership, environmental and conservation efforts.
