Photos: Go back 50 years to peek inside the 1968 Emmy Awards

The 2018 Emmys have come to an end, settling into its permanent home in TV history. And what a history it is!

We took a look back through the photo archives to revisit the Emmy Awards of 50 years ago -- back when "Amazon" was a jungle, not an online shopping mall that somehow also produces the year's best comedy series.

Yes, the Emmys of 1968 were a very different scene: Every single nomination came from CBS, ABC or NBC, and statues went home with long-gone stars like Lucille Ball and Don Adams. But the glitz, glamour and magic of Hollywood was all the same. Take a look:
