2018 Emmys: 'Today' show anchors Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie hold hands on the red carpet

Girls' night out!

"Today" co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb are used to hanging bright and early every morning, but the ladies had a well-deserved evening out Monday night at the 2018 Emmy Awards.

Hoda, looking glamorous as ever in a blush halter-neck gown, hugged and held hands with Savannah, whose ice blue tea-length number was one of her best style moments to date.

Fellow "Today" host Natalie Morales, who anchors across the country on the West Coast, joined in for a giggly group hug on the red carpet.

The show is up for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Morning Program.

Savannah and Hoda have shared the East Coast lead anchor spots since ex-host Matt Lauer left NBC in disgrace in late November 2017. Amid a year of turmoil at the network, holding hands shows a clear sign of solidarity between the two women now heading the beloved daytime show.

"There are certain things you can’t fake,” Hoda told Parade in August of her sisterly friendship with Savannah. “Have you ever gone to lunch with someone and the first few minutes you go, ‘Yes, yes, yes’? You don’t know why, you just know yes. That’s part of it. You can’t make it up.”
