Kathy Griffin turns down interview with Fox News' Tomi Lahren

Updated

Can bygones be bygones? Not if you are Tomi Lahren and Kathy Griffin.

Comedian Kathy Griffin claims that she was essentially blacklisted from Hollywood when she posed with a bloodied fake head of President Trump last year, and one of the biggest opponents against Griffin was Fox News.

Griffin has since started touring again and performing, in front of what Griffin says, are sold out crowds. Now that she has made a comeback, she received a request for an interview with Tomi Lahren on the new Fox Nation digital network.

"I am writing to inquire if Ms. Kathy Griffin would have any interest in participating in a sit-down interview with Tomi Lahren for Fox's upcoming subscription-based, digital streaming platform called Fox Nation. [...] We are hoping to have a thoughtful, productive and amicable dialog; all in a relaxed and casual setting," the pitch read.

Griffin posted the request from Lahren and Fox Nation on Twitter with her own reply:

"Dear @TomiLahren, You and your network told me my career was over and that I was irrelevant," she wrote on Twitter. "Now you want to interview me. Not only do I not want to waste my time with you, I’m too busy selling out shows on my US tour. Go F--k Yourself, Kathy Griffin."

Update 9/5/2018: Tomi Lahren has responded, tweeting, "Thought maybe you’d like to defend and discuss your Trump Derangement Syndrome on the most-watched cable news network. Guess not! Have a nice day."
