'Curb Your Enthusiasm' star Jeff Garlin files for divorce after 24 years of marriage

Jeff Garlin has filed for divorce from his wife, Marla, after 24 years of marriage, The Blast reports.

The filing was made Tuesday, but Jeff listed the date of separation as July 25, 2017, one day after the ex-couple's 23rd wedding anniversary. They tied the knot in 1994.

Jeff is perhaps best known for his starring role as Larry David's close friend, Jeff Greene, in "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He also plays the family patriarch on ABC's "The Goldbergs."

Behind-the-scenes of "Curb," Marla Garlin worked in the show's casting department from 2000 to 2007, according to IMDb. She was also the casting director for "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and multiple episodes of "The Office."

Jeff is reportedly willing to pay spousal support but wants each party to separately pay attorney fees. The ex-couple shares two sons who are both over the age of 18, meaning that custody discussions will not be necessary in divorce proceedings.
