Venice Film Festival 2018: All the best red carpet looks

Let the fall festival circuit begin!

The 75th Venice Film Festival kicked off last week in Italy, where a slew of the world's most beloved movie stars stepped out to promote their films, many of which will go on to become awards season contenders.

Emma Stone, Claire Foy, Naomi Watts, Ryan Gosling and Lady Gaga were among the big names that made big appearances in the festival's opening days, donning a variety of memorable ensembles in the process. Also making big appearances were Cate Blanchett, Chloe Grace Moretz, Tilda Swinton, Natalie Portman and Dakota Johnson.
