All good things must come to an end, and for these 19 shows, the upcoming season will their last.

From long-awaited conclusions to series like Game of Thrones, to unexpected announcements like the finales ofMr. Robot andThe Big Bang Theory, the new season marks the beginning of the end for a number of fan favorites.

For many of these shows, it was the creative teams who decided it was time to say goodbye after years of shaping their stories towards the finish line. Others seem to have come to an end after scandal, while one in particular (looking at you, Shadowhunters), seems to have fans miffed with an abrupt ending.
