Bethenny Frankel shades her ‘RHONY’ costars: ‘They can’t afford the lives they’re living’

Bethenny Frankel is never at a loss for words on many subjects, one of which happens to be her fellow Real Housewives of New York City costars. In a new interview, she goes as far to say that some of them simply can’t afford the lifestyles that they are showcasing on and off the popular Bravo show.

The 47-year-old appeared on the cover of the MoneyOpens a New Window. magazine's September issue.

Another conversation was about the show that truly made her famous, RHONY. During its debut season, she admitted to only making $7,250. That became a crucial turning point financially for her, as she made a deal in 2008 that wouldn’t allow Bravo to make any profit off her businesses that she promoted on the show.“Everybody else just had to try to play catch-up after they saw what I did,” she said.

As for her fellow RHONY costars finances, Bethenny isn't that optimistic. "They can’t afford the lives they’re living,” she said. "And if the music stops, they’re going to get in some trouble.”

She didn't single anyone out in the interview, but Bethenny is known for her feuds with several past and present RHONY housewives. This includes her former BFF Carole Radziwill, who she had a major falling out with this past year.
