Charlie Puth lights up 'Today' despite getting just one hour of sleep: Watch!

Updated

How long has this been going on, Charlie Puth? We're talking, of course, about his apparent struggles with insomnia.

The chart-topping star powered through major sleep deprivation early Friday morning, lighting up the Rockefeller Center crowd as part of Citi Concert Series on "Today."

“I got one hour of sleep last night, but I’m here!” Puth told the show's anchors after singing "Attention," "How Long" and his new release "The Way I Am."

It wasn't just teenage fans who were loving the show: Hoda Kotb couldn't stop bopping around from her spot in the crowd, and AOL also spotted several dads nodding along to Puth's buzzy tunes.

Once he'd left the stage, Puth tweeted that he was off to bed. "Knocking out now..." he wrote.

Upcoming performers on Citi Concert Series on "Today" include Julia Michaels (July 27), Keith Urban (August 2), Jason Mraz (August 10) and Cole Swindell (August 17). You can catch all the live shows on NBC.
