Meghan and Kate's first joint outing!

Duchess Meghan and Duchess Kate stepped out on Saturday morning to sit in the Royal Box at Wimbledon, which is their first ever outing together without their husbands, Prince Harry and Prince William. The pair's outing had been announced by Kensington Palace on Thursday after Serena Williams won her semi-final match to make it to Saturday's final.

The pair stepped out for the Ladies' Final, during which Serena will try to beat Germany's Angelique Kerber in a rematch of the 2016 Wimbledon final to capture a record-tying 24th grand slam title. Before the final, though, Meghan and Kate caught the last two sets of Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic's semi-final match, which carried over from Friday. It went to a deciding fifth set.

Kate and Meghan smiled and waved to fans as they entered Centre Court on Saturday, with Meghan wearing a loose-fitting blue-and-white striped button-down shirt from Ralph Lauren tucked into high-waisted, wide-legged off-white trousers. Her hair was up in her signature messy bun. Kate, who recently became the royal patron of Wimbledon, opted for a tea-length white dress with a black pattern and slightly ruffled sleeves.

The Duchesses were all smiles as they descended the stairs into the Royal Box, where they're expected to cheer on Serena, who Meghan has been friends with for years -- since before she even met Prince Harry. They first met at a 2010 Super Bowl party in Miami.

Serena attended Meghan's royal wedding to Harry in May with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, ahead of the 2018 French Open. Two weeks ago, Meghan, Serena and Alexis supported Harry at a polo match just ahead of Wimbledon.

After it was announced that Meghan would be attending the final, Serena gushed about what her support means to her and noted that Meghan had been to Wimbledon before -- most recently in 2016.

"We've always had a wonderful friendship and every year for a couple years she comes out to Wimbledon, has supported me," Serena said. "Now, she's supporting me in a different role."

Other notable names that have stepped out for Wimbledon this year include Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, Drake, Olivia Munn, and Stanley Tucci among many others.
