'Young and the Restless' actor found guilty of child molestation

A former "Young and the Restless" actor has been found guilty of child molestation.

Corey Sligh was convicted on one count of child molestation and cleared of another, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The AJC reports that he has not been sentenced yet.

He has also been accused of another molestation charge against the same girl for a separate incident in Florida. The girl was 8-years-old at the time that Sligh's alleged crimes were reported.

The federal charging documents include allegations that the actor made the young girl "touch his penis with her hand," among other disturbing claims about the alleged molestation that the girl says occurred around Easter.

Another incident occurred during a family beach vacation, where Sligh allegedly snuck into the girl's room and touched her inappropriately. The reported victim's mother found out about the incident after she noticed a change in her daughter's behavior, which prompted her to ask if anything was wrong.

People reported that Georgia authorities said Sligh had molested the girl between April and September of 2016.

He was arrested back in October 2016 following the molestation claims, and, according to the AJC, has been accused of touching another girl under age 10 a few months prior, as well.
