'Pruitt is the swamp. Drain it.' Fox's Laura Ingraham really wants Trump's EPA head fired

Fox News host Laura Ingraham called for Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt to be ousted from Washington. She tweeted, “Pruitt is the swamp. Drain it.”

Although Business Insider reports Ingraham has been supportive of most of President Trump’s appointees, it’s not unlike her to attack Pruitt via Twitter.

Just last month when news broke that Pruitt had GOP donors help his wife find a job, she tweeted, “PRUITT BAD JUDGMENT HURTING @POTUS, GOTTA GO.”

Pruitt is currently facing a number of scandals over his management of the EPA, including investigations into his spending of taxpayer dollars.

According to The Hill, Pruitt denied a recent CNN report that he directly asked President Trump to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

The report also says that Pruitt asked to be Sessions' replacement. In a statement to The Hill he said, “This report is simply false. General Sessions and I are friends and I have always said I want nothing more than to see him succeed in his role.”
