Andy Dick charged with misdemeanor sexual battery, simple battery

Andy Dick is facing charges of sexual battery and misdemeanor simple battery, Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office deputy director Frank T. Mateljan told TheWrap on Monday.

An arraignment is scheduled for July 18 at the Van Nuys Courthouse.

A woman filed a police report accusing the actor of grabbing her buttocks twice while walking near her on a sidewalk and making lewd comments, according to TMZ.

The LAPD was unable to provide information on the incident, which is reported to have occurred on April 5.

This is not the first time Dick has had a run in with the law — or faced sexual misconduct accusations.

His wife Lina was granted a temporary restraining order against him last February, citing violent incidents and erratic behavior, the Blast reported.

Last November, Dick was fired from the film “Vampire Dad” on his first day of shooting over sexual harassment accusations the cast and crew made against the actor, who director Frankie Ingrassia told TheWrap appeared to become intoxicated on set. He was removed from set after “multiple, flagrant acts of improper conduct and inappropriate contact with several crew members.”

A representative for Dick did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
