Meghan Markle and Amal Clooney reportedly have a 'natural friendship'

Meghan Markle is living the dream after having one of the most highly anticipated weddings of all time…. who wouldn’t be?!

And, even though many of us would simply rest on our laurels if we were Meghan, she is ready to step into her new role as the Duchess of Sussex and make a difference.

According to People's latest cover story, Meghan does not plan to be a subdued member of the royal family. The chief executive officer of the Royal Foundation told People that Meghan will focus on "young women and teenage girls" with her work.

"She is familiarizing herself with the landscape in this country," she continued.

The Royal Foundation oversees the charities that Prince William, Kate Middleton, Meghan and Harry are involved with.

And to make things even more ideal, Meghan reportedly has a new best friend to show her the ropes -- Amal Clooney!

"Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life," a source told People of Amal, who is a human rights lawyer for the United Nations and is married to George Clooney. The pair has reportedly had "a very natural friendship from day one," and Meghan has previously been involved with the UN, as well.

"Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests," the source continued.

Amal and George Clooney were some of the many celebrities at Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry last month. Also there were Serena Williams, James Corden, Priyanka Chopra and more.
