Charlie Sheen says 'good riddance’ to ‘Roseanne,’ touts ‘Two and a Half Men’ reboot

Charlie Sheen has bid “Roseanne” farewell and touted a reboot for his old show, “Two and a Half Men.”

“Adios Roseanne! Good riddance,” Sheen tweeted on Tuesday along with the hashtag #CharlieHarperReturns. “Hashtag NOT Winning. The runway is now clear for OUR reboot.”

ABC canceled “Roseanne” early Tuesday after Barr suggested that former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett is a product of the Muslim Brotherhood and the “Planet of the Apes.”

“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement to TheWrap.

Barr apologized after the immediate backlash and left Twitter Tuesday morning, only to return Tuesday night for another apology.

“I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks,” she said. “I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste.”

“Don’t feel sorry for me, guys!!” Barr tweeted Tuesday evening. “I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people, and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet. I will be on Joe Rogan’s podcast friday.”

“Two and a Half Men” ran from 2003 to 2015 and starred Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones. In 2011, Sheen left the show and was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.
