Meghan Markle's biography on Kensington Palace website gets major update

Updated

Kensington Palace just made a major amendment to Meghan Markle's official biography on its website.

Just over a week after the Duchess of Sussex was added to the site, the palace added a bit more background information on Markle to fix an omission that fans noticed upon its initial posting. Though her blurb proclaimed her a "proud feminist" and made various notes about her past, it completely ignored the 7-season stint on "Suits" that made her famous in the first place.

"She most notably played the role of Rachel Zane on the series Suits for seven seasons, completing over 100 episodes," Meghan's new bio reads, as The Sun notes. "Whilst working on 'Suits,' The Duchess moved to Toronto, Canada, where the show was filmed. She feels very connected to Canada, as it became a second home to her."

The updated biography also mentions her hugely popular -- and now shuttered -- lifestyle website, The Tig, which she closed down along with her social media accounts well into her relationship with Prince Harry.

"Alongside her successful career as an actress, Her Royal Highness also wrote and edited a lifestyle website called The Tig which she used as a platform to discuss social issues such as gender equality in addition to articles on travel, food and fashion," Kensington Palace now notes.
