Alec and Hilaria Baldwin welcome fourth child, a baby boy

The baby boom continues. Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have welcomed their fourth child together, a boy.

“He’s here!” Hilaria captioned a photo on Instagram on Thursday, May 17, of herself cradling the newborn in her hospital bed with Alec looking on from the side. “He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz #wegotthis2018.”

The couple are already parents to daughter Carmen, 4, son Rafael, 2, and son Leonardo, 18 months. The actor also has a 22-year-old daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.

In the weeks before her new bundle of joy’s arrival, Hilaria posted a sweet shot of her husband and their two sons on Instagram, captioning the photo, “The current Baldwin boys….soon to be 4. ps…they are watching dinosaurs #wegotthis2018.”

The Baldwins revealed their baby’s gender in an Instagram video in November. The family could be seen sitting around a cake as Hilaria cut into it to find blue filling. “It’s a blue cake … the magic cake says it’s a boy! Can we all say together ‘thank you,’ magic cake,” the 30 Rock alum asked his kids.

Us Weekly spoke to the expectant mother after the gender reveal, and she admitted she was “in shock” when she discovered the baby was a boy. “I cried when I found out! I wasn’t upset about it but I was overwhelmed!” she explained. “I really do believe that this baby was meant to be and will come and we’ll be completely obsessed with him. So no, I don’t wish he was a girl. With that being said, Carmen was a little disappointed because she’s been wanting a little sister! I don’t know if I can do 5!”

The Saturday Night Live star, 60, and the yoga instructor, 34, renewed their vows in June 2017 with their family — including their children — and close friends present. The ceremony marked the pair’s fifth wedding anniversary.
