All about "Star Wars" at Cannes!

The cast of "Solo: A Star Wars Story" took over the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on day 8 on Tuesday, resulting in a slew of high-profile moments in the South of France. Thandie Newton, Alden Ehrenreich, Emilie Clarke and Donald Glover were some of the film's big stars that stepped out for a morning photo-call followed by a star-studded red carpet premiere. Director Ron Howard was also there.

Also on-hand for the premiere were models Winnie Harlow and Alessandra Ambrosio, actor and boyfriend of Taylor Swift Joe Alwyn, 50 Cent and Michelle Rodriguez. Also there were Kelly Preston and John Travolta, who brought their adorable children with them.

Earlier in the day, they had participated in a photo-call for their long-awaited film, "Gotti," which will premiere at Cannes this week.

Also out and about during day 8 of the Cannes Film Festival? Serena Williams, Spike Lee, Jennifer Connelly and, yes, a Michael Jackson impersonator.
